Clinical Biography

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship stress, and parenting challenges. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, low in motivation, or unsure how to move forward even when they know something needs to change.

My role is to offer supportive guidance while helping you identify your own strengths and realistic next steps. I believe therapy works best when it is practical, collaborative, and non-judgmental. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. Sessions create space to sort through what is happening, understand what is keeping you stuck, and begin building changes that feel achievable.

With children and teens, I focus on developmentally appropriate support, emotional language, coping strategies, confidence, and communication. With adults and parents, I help connect emotional patterns to practical routines, relationships, and decisions so therapy leads to change that can be felt outside the session room.

My Therapeutic Philosophy

I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. These approaches help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and stress while also identifying realistic actions that support progress.

Clients can expect sessions that are collaborative and action-oriented. We explore what is happening with care, then translate insight into tools, practice, and manageable goals. The work is not about judgment or pressure. It is about building confidence and creating lasting change one step at a time.
