Clinical Biography
I am a Registered Social Worker who offers specialized care for adults, teens, older adults, parents, and caregivers experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. Many clients seek support because they feel triggered, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to manage the impact of past experiences on daily life.
Therapy can help when stress feels constant, emotions feel too intense, or coping strategies that once worked no longer provide relief. My work combines practical tools with deeper trauma processing when appropriate, always with attention to safety, pacing, and the client’s readiness.
Clients can expect support that is structured, compassionate, and focused on helping them feel more grounded and more in control. The goal is not to erase what happened. The goal is to reduce how powerfully the past disrupts the present and to build skills that support steadier emotional regulation.
My Therapeutic Philosophy
I use EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. These approaches help clients understand triggers, develop coping skills, challenge unhelpful patterns, and process traumatic material when it is clinically appropriate.
In sessions, we work at a pace that respects your nervous system. Some work focuses on stabilization and real tools for managing stress. Some work moves deeper into the experiences that continue to create fear, shutdown, anger, sadness, or self-protection.
