Clinical Biography

I am a Registered Social Worker who works with neurodivergent, neurocomplex, and highly sensitive people ages 3 and up. Many of the children, teens, adults, and families I support are carrying trauma, anxiety, depression, stress-related concerns, emotional dysregulation, or the exhaustion of feeling misunderstood.

My work is grounded in warmth, flexibility, self-understanding, and self-compassion. I take time to understand the whole person: identity, culture, sensory needs, family context, values, strengths, and the protective strategies that have helped someone survive. Therapy is not about forcing a child or adult to fit a narrow mould. It is about creating enough safety to explore what is happening and build more supportive ways forward.

Clients and families can expect a collaborative process that respects pacing. With children, this often means using play, regulation, creativity, and relationship as central parts of therapy. With older clients, it may involve parts work, trauma processing, grounding, and practical strategies that help the nervous system feel less overwhelmed.

My Therapeutic Philosophy

I use play-based therapy, EMDR, parts work informed by Internal Family Systems, and nervous system regulation strategies. These approaches help clients make sense of emotions, process difficult experiences, and build more flexible ways of responding to stress.

My clinical stance is affirming and responsive. I do not assume that one approach fits every child, adult, or family. I work with clients to understand what feels supportive, what feels too fast, and what helps them feel grounded enough to participate in therapy with trust.
