Clinical Biography

I am a Registered Social Worker who works with couples and individuals ages 16 and up. I support people navigating grief, traumatic loss, stress, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, sexuality, and relationship difficulties. In couples work, I help partners address communication, conflict resolution, emotional and sexual intimacy, and the impact of past hurts.

My work is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and grounded in respect for the full complexity of each person. Clients often come to therapy carrying parts of themselves that feel conflicted, ashamed, guarded, or exhausted. I aim to create a space where those parts can be understood rather than judged.

For couples, therapy is not about deciding who is right. It is about understanding the interaction patterns that keep partners disconnected and helping each person communicate with more clarity, compassion, and accountability. I also bring knowledge of polyamory, open relationships, and kink so clients can discuss their relationships honestly and safely.

My Therapeutic Philosophy

I draw from Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method. These approaches allow therapy to move between deeper emotional work and concrete skills for communication, regulation, and repair.

Clients can expect an authentic and collaborative relationship. I check in about fit, pacing, and what is helping. Together we build strategies that respect your lived experience while creating room for change in grief, trauma, relationships, and the parts of life that feel hard to face alone.
