Hear From Charlene:
I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, and the lasting impact of difficult or overwhelming experiences. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break, whether that’s constant worry, emotional overwhelm, or feeling triggered by past events.
I have a particular focus on anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapy that helps the brain process and heal from distressing experiences. This means our work can go beyond just talking about what happened, we’ll focus on helping you feel less triggered, more grounded, and more in control in your daily life.
In our sessions, we’ll combine practical strategies (like CBT and DBT skills) with deeper processing work when appropriate. My approach is supportive, structured, and focused on helping you build real tools for managing stress, improving emotional regulation, and moving forward with more confidence.
If you’re feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, stuck, or impacted by past experiences, therapy can be a space to start making sense of things and creating meaningful change.
