Hear From Megan:
As a Master of Social Work student, I am committed to creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable expressing your feelings, experiences, and concerns openly. I will listen with curiosity and compassion, meeting you where you are in your life and working alongside you to recognize and build on your existing strengths and capacity.
I come to social work from a creative arts background that includes twenty years of community-based practice. Much of this work focused on bringing groups of people together, creating spaces where individuals could connect, share experiences, explore ideas, and feel a sense of belonging. These experiences have shaped my belief in the importance of genuine connection, creativity, and creating spaces where people feel heard and valued.
Outside of work, I am a mother to young children in a blended family. We love bike rides and cozy movie nights. I also enjoy practicing yoga and cooking elaborate meals—when I can find the time.
